Official UX xbox minecraft server?

Whenever I look at people online, whether on my friends list or on the tags, Minecraft for xbox seems to be a very popular game. This thread is basically a tally to see who is interested in starting an official site one (for xbox). I realize a few have already made their own worlds, but they are exclusive to a select group of friends.

If created, anyone from UX can play on the server, as long as they are registered to the site. There will be rules as well, to protect against griefing and other mischief. I will try to have it up often, and have them as "UX events" with an appropriate thread in the event section.

Anyone interested?

Actually my world is open to everyone. We already have a huge town with around 10-15 people's homes.

Also, i tried to have my world as the main, but i was gone for a few days and a new one was started my someone else. However, i would like to have mine be the main again if anyone is interested.

Ah yes but I have heard rumors of massive cheating going on (in terms of item duplication), so I cannot endorse that. However, there may not need to be an official one if we already have a developed one. If you are willing to host anyone from the site, then more advertizing is needed, as in (like zombies) post an event topic in the event section to notify people of it; I doubt anyone on the website (outside of the regulars) has any idea that the server even exists.

Mine crashes every time I go 5 minuets playing it.
But it sounds like a fun idea, I'v gotten bored of my old world and want something to do.

Buying Minecraft for xbox was a horrible mistake

Yes, there WAS.
However after the last update that fixed the problem. Also, about 90% of items that were created like that i had destroyed.


I wasn't advertising because i felt no need to. Also, if you start a server, i'll warn you now. Do not allow Manguydude to join. He was perma banned from mine for massive griefing, as well as setting TNT traps under multiple houses.

Im going to start hosting Minecraft Mondays though.

Alright the server is getting set up now. Event topic / rules topic will be up shortly.

I will try to have the server online as much as possible; all registered to UX are welcomed.

Reviving this topic since i'm getting many messages for possible interest again. If you are interested, my main question to you is: Keep the old server (with all the development) or start a new one from scratch that will include the recent updates?

If anyone has any interest/input please post below.

Sorry but it doesn't look like enough interest exists to start a new official server.

If anyone wants to join my personal server (which has been in development since the games release with a few others), just let me know, and i'll see what I can do.
