Detroit isn't really as bad as everyone says, it's just an industrial city, no different than Bethesda or Lima. Doesn't have many tourist attractions because it doesn't need them.

San Diego is my city, and I prefer it the most out of the three. Lots to do there and not everything requires you to be made of money like New York.


If you want a city not to go to, try St. Louis. It actually has the highest murder rate in the country. All three cities have bad neighborhoods, but if you stick to tourist attractions, you'll avoid them all.

Speaking personally though from San Diego, you'll want to avoid:

Logan Heights
City Heights
Encanto maybe, but it just seems more poor than anything. You still see some undesirable types roaming about.

I don't live there anymore. I live in Idaho. But I was born in San Diego and I lived there until I was 14. I still go back every Summer.

The temperature for the city is always off the bay though when you look it up nationally. Inland it can get up to around 90 on a bad day. If you're downtown though, you'll get the sea breeze.

Well if you got a fake, hit up williamsburg brooklyn. Some great bars over there.

Even if it does have an art museum, I still don't see the draw in going to Detroit. That's like selecting a random city in Wyoming (if Wyoming has any areas populated enough to be called "cities") that has nothing in it to go to. Except with a worse reputation.

Well I came back 2 days ago. I didn't end up going to New York or Detroit for that matter. But I did check out San Diego. So many Mexicans and Spanish people there. Oh and Americans are fucking suspicious as hell when it comes to Airport security. Lets just say I ran into a bit of trouble on my way back home from the airport and I would rather not talk about the rest.

Overall it was OK. But so...many...Spanish people and the weather is too damn hot. But California girls are pretty fucking hot.

Good to know airport security is still intact.
