can we implement a online betting system for when game battle happen or when the call out system takes place (forgot if we still have it or not) ?

How about a traditional Roll The Dice system? Y'know, the 3d6 system - set the number of dice and sides and a random generator gives you the outcome. Wouldn't be hard to implement.

Having numbers generated randomly would ruin the point of betting (though I suppose something like that would have other uses).

Yeah, I meant as a separate feature. Could be used in all sorts of forum games.

Actually THIS forum has a roll the dice feature (actually it has a whole RPG system.) We just never used it, didn't find any reason to. But yeah maybe we can find enough reason for the dice on e-hole.

Really? I don't follow the Forum Games section, but it's a damn wonder no one implemented it into one of those.

Well I guess its mostly our fault for not telling anybody. I'm not sure how advanced it is, and I have no idea how to use it.

Actually I'm not seeing the RTD option anywhere, so is it disabled or something?

Yeah that's what I was trying to say. There is a roleplaying interface for forumotion, but I have it disabled. I'll turn it on for a bit so you can fucks with it. If you find any use for it, let me know.

Also, check your profile. Theres a character sheet. I can populate it with as many fields as I want (only 3 can be visible when you post though.) I have a good amount of options. I can let it so the users can edit it, I can do it myself, I can random generate it for people. I can put choices, text fields, spreadsheets and whatnot. Theres even bars for health, mana points, whatever you want to use them for. Although I guess somebody would have to regulate this manually.

#1 'Dice' : 2, 5, 2, 3, 4, 5, 4

Also I put a third dice there with a real big number, just to see what happens. Apparently there's a cap.

Woa, yeah I see. Hm maybe there is a way to get it to post from the "rollers' account, instead of the Game Master (I am currently selected as the game master.)


Edit: Yeah doesn't look like its possible. Hooray post count. I can also have it so there are images for each side of the dice, they can be pictures of dice, or cool things like monster faces or colors and what not.

How about you make a separate account for it (with a fitting name and a nice pic of dice as an avatar and all) and make that the game master?

Anyway, right away when I heard of the feature I thought of a Meaningless Battle. I think it should be OK with Eaglendia (is he even around anymore?) if I host one here, since he gave me the green light to do it on another forum, and that went well. Maybe I'll do something like that in the future, maybve I'll think of something original...

how about after 5 posts of a beginning flame war we can roll to see if it is allowed to continue or end depending on the number or average dice rolls

Ex: If the dice roll was above 3 war ends, below it is allowed to continue for 10 more posts
then we can bet on weather it will continue or end

regardless this is probably a horrible idea
