‎EA has announced their plan to add microtransactions to all of their future games.

Saw this coming a while ago, but didn't think they'd just come out and say it.

Uhh. Dude they just want to give us more content. Im actually happy that there are companies out there that would go through the extra effort to give us the content we deserve for our money

Along with taking up so much of your fucking hard drive they will take more money. The games they make are nice but for fucks sake they just want more and more money.

Ah, I didn't know that. I think most of the people ended up buying the sniper rifles, since I saw a disproportionate amount of people with the top tier sniper.

Also, getting gear from buying a brand of soda is still very lame. I'd probably be cool with it if it was just something superficial like the green uniform, but they got spec ops weapons from a bottle of Dr. Pepper? Yeesh.

You didn't get any special weapons, just re-skins of weapons already in the game. :O Man I miss BFBC2.

Exactly. All they are doing is testing the limit of how much out of their ass they can charge for a crap product, before people start to catch on.

Well. Don't get me wrong, I fucking hate it when EA does this kind of thing. But then you have to remember that EA wasn't too far off from traveling down the same path as THQ did. EA is a publisher that owns a damn large amount of developer companies, and they spend a lot of money whenever they make all those games. EA is spread thin. At a certain point, they need to make bank if they want to keep some of their games and developers up and running.

Although they did kinda hit the market where it's most vulnerable, because crazy fps fans will pay just about anything if they think it'l give them an edge or bring them a new map.

There's a fine line between pay to win and paying to get items. I don't think any of the later guns were "better" than earlier ones. (Unlike a game like Planetside 2 or most F2P shooters) They were just different firerates, recoil, and damage. Either way if you bought the shortcut packs you were a big dumb idiot face. O_o

I'm pretty sure the top tier sniper one hit killed people regardless of where you shot them, though.

On a similar note, I remember playing BFBC2 with a few people a while ago (it was eaustinn's idea to play it on hardcore mode or whatever it's called). It was almost nothing but snipers, snipers, snipers.

I only played hardcore and snipers were always a problem because they could one shot if it was the chest or head. It required a little more teamwork to smoke and flank them, but most of the time it was kept to an OK level. I didn't like regular. I hate having a triangle over my head even when you can't see or hear me after spotting me. T_T

EDIT**

The last sniper was at a disadvantage because he left a smoke trail to directly where he was shooting from. Also, it takes the guy forever to pull the bolt back on that thing or reload lol.

Imo not playing hardcore in BF is stupid, as if you have a gun like an SMG, you have to unload a whole clip into them for the kill. Hardcore is by far more realistic. I agree that snipers are a problem there, but, take a look at any COD game, and then get back to me.
