ok i was hoping to go on ZRP tonight, but my buddy 5 minutes ago knocked over my xbox and now my gta 4 wont work. my other friend is coming over later to fix my disc but i might be late to ZRP. if anyone has any tips to help get my disc to read it would be really appreciated. Crying or Very sad

put it in the toilet and flush make sure it dont go down but the high presure will smooth it out

.... No. Though toothpaste or car wax actually might work. You should probably try toothpaste first, cause you probably have some already. Just cover your disc on toothpaste, let it dry out for 10 minutes, then remove the toothpaste under a low pressure stream of warm water.

If that doesn't work, look for car wax. If you don't have any, buy some. Just evenly spread a thin layer on the disc, let it dry completely and after it's as dry as it gets, rub the CD with a cloth with circular movements around the whole disc. And washing it with water after that is a good idea too.

Regardless to your attempts of being funny, peanut butter might actually work. As long as it fills the scratch, stays there even when the excess peanut butter is being washed off, and if the laser is able to penetrate it, then it works.
