This is a HUGE game!

Currently laughing at Jakaahs avatar, but yes this is a HUGE game for and FPS. I wonder why? The install is optional, but 2 discs? Dayum. I wonder what the explanation for that is.

I'm guessing the multiplayer filled disk one, and then the install and singleplayer were put on the second disk, which was not completely filled.

Considering they upgraded the disks lately to accommodate another gig, this has to be at least a 12 gig game.

Max disk space is 8 gigs, and there is usually a gig worth of antipiracy data on there, making it sevenish. With the new disks, it's now 9. So They probably filled 8 gigs worth of data on the first disk, then some more on the other.

Either we've got another "Crysis" on our hands, or this is huge. xD

yep and that's why Microsoft was foolish to not switch to Blue-ray as PS3 did. More games now than ever are starting to spill over onto another disk. Microsoft will have to convert eventually.

But I suppose I get the draw of it. There's probably some real fun energy in that crowd, all that excitement. And you get to play the game the hour it comes out.

Its not just a midnight release, its an event. The energy and type of people youre with is what make it so enjoyable. You get into long discussions with people you dont know over gaming, releases and such. Its just a great time. I usually try and be there at 11 for any midnight releases because of that, and the gamestop near me usually have something cool going on.
