(Game) Kerbal Space Program

Put simply...
"KSP is a game where the player creates and manages his own space program.
Build spacecraft, fly them, and try to help the Kerbals to fulfill their ultimate mission of conquering space.

The game is currently under heavy development. This means the game will be improved on a regular basis, so be sure to check back for new updates.

More in depth, Kerbal Space Program is a game where you try your very best to get in to space or orbit with a rocket you construct, crashing doznes of times, until you finally get in to space. And then your Kerbal's freak out. Except for Jebediah. Batshit insane he is.

My favorite part of the game is when your shuttle program is shutdown due to budget reasons.

They do plan on adding an actual space program management system later on where you can get shut down due to budget reasons. But for now it's purely based on testing shuttles.

its a pretty interesting game, actually. i like it

I checked on the game forums and found at least 8 Rocket Propelled Dildos. I also found some penis decals of surprisingly high resolution. Still, lots of fun to play, and even more fun to fuck up and kill everything, especially for being in alpha. I will be watching this.

My program has brought nothing but pain and misery to my astronauts.

i told my friend about this game and we had a competition to see who's rocket could get the highest, i got to about 900000 meters...he, however, got to over 3000km before we had to stop and go to sleep.

I've made a rocket that was able to get to 100,000 km when I left it overnight. I'll fly it again and get some screens.

Oh god, I downloaded that in like, sixth grade and didn't have a clue what was going on.

My rocket went so high, it re-surfaced from the launch pad.

i got my command pod to release into space, took a 15 minute shower, came back, and it was still going at about 1 km/s

o feel nooby. only went 5543 meters. the first decoupling part gets stuck in the launch pad and it wont go up until I detach and activate the next part.

Well for the first time in while I finally decided to put a game on my PC, and play it. Other than minecraft a couple years back it's been over 5 years... and I got to say this game is addicting.

If only I could show some of my epic fail rockets (exploded off start as I did not understand what certain components did; example: I ejected all of my boosters off the start without firing, and then fired my rocket on top which caused a pretty big explosion... somehow no one died). I did have 1 rocket that launched sideways but I managed to keep it in the air at around 5000m (like an airplane) for a good 3-4 mins.

Currently on attempt number 9, and I have found success!! Although the rocket is EXTREMELY unstable upon launch, it levels out eventually. I think it reached escape velocity at the end; ejected last pod off going 4100 m/s... shutdown the PC at round 10km, but it would've gone a LOT further (still going over 2500m/s). I'll get screeshots up later.

No as I said in the post above at the end, I will upload screenshots later. I am aware of the F1 feature; however, I was hoping for some video footage.. as pictures dont capture the beauty of it

I was going to download this game but when I went to download it it said it would take 2 hrs so... no.

This game looks interesting but it makes me want to play spore :/

you must have a REALLY shitty download speed because it took 6 minutes for me. its only like 60MB or something like that.

1 - Me on my incredible journey to see if any object will be reached. Used my best rocket ending at 5200 m/s, and have leveled off around 4600 m/s. Would show the planet behind.. but there is no planet visible anymore at this distance.. just the sun. Will be posting updated version later.

2 - The prototype of my crazy acceleration rocket; reaches only 5000m before the tanks overheat and explode,but as you can see by the "G" meter, it is maxed. Crazy acceleration.

3 - The final design for the ultimate acceleration rocket. It may look like it is blowing up, but it isn't. Acceleration is so intense, especially with all those boosters, that some have "failed" under the pressure. Rocket only reaches 3000m now before overheating, but does 0-300m/s in under a second, and generated 48 G's off the launch.

NOTE: I actually got Jeb to scream in this one ALSO, I broke the G meter.. you can see the pointer off the chart above the speed displayed.
