Ya just email me my lines, I know how to edit them properly, I'm just curious on what file type you want it as.

Didn't see this before. I've gotten files in both mp3 and wav and they both worked fine. Basically, if you're still up for it, send me an audio file, just so I can confirm that I can both receive it and know what the quality of it is. You can just say anything in it, as it isn't an audition so much as confirming it works. If you need suggestions, you can just say something like "The quick fox jumps over the lazy dog" or "Cyanide laced ham sandwiches make for eventful Thanksgivings". Or you could just say "Hey, this is the test file, just confirming whether or not it works".
Note: I'm almost done with the script. Might be done sometime tomorrow, as I'm feeling pretty tired tonight. I just want to note ahead of time that I need a test file from sgt zombie23 and KGBOOM before I can move from the finished script phase to the casting phase. So go ahead and send me any type of audio file saying anything, and then I can add you to the acting roster.
I'm expecting to be doing filming or maybe even finishing filming sometime this month.

Re: Filming/OOC (Outpost Echo)
Got a test file from KGBOOM, still need one from sgt zombie23 and Pwnisher James if either of them are still interested in acting their characters. If I don't get a test file before the end of the week, I'm just going to have to cast one of the voice actors as them so I can get moving along to the next part.
Note: If you don't have the time or desire to do the voice acting for your character anymore, just PM me so I can move on to the next part.

RE filming/OOC (Outpost Echo)
Is my character still being added at a later point since he wasn't part of the ship or is he just dead?

I can still add you in, but you'd have to be a lot more active on the forums (you only have seven posts right now). The reason for that is that I have to get voice actors for every character, and it would be useless to add your character in if you didn't actually play him (in the game topic).

About goddamn time.
The script is now (finally) complete. Comes out to a total of 17 pages, 5,245 words.
I timed myself while reading through the script, and it took me a total of 32 minutes to get through it all (10:02-10:34), and that's without taking any breaks from the reading. This is also my estimate for how long the machinima will be. It may be a little off, but it should be somewhere in that range.
Anyway, I'll be sending out e-mails soon. I have to get back into contact with all the voice actors, make sure they're still up for it. On site voice actors can expect to be receiving their lines soon.

Well you're welcome your holiness, sorry I took so long, I only had to find 20 voice actors and make a screenplay that's a third the length of a movie by myself.
But yeah, I'm pretty glad to be done with the script.

Re: Filming/OOC (Outpost Echo)
I've now sent out all the lines (except for two characters). If you're voice acting for your character and haven't received your lines, tell me now, because I have it marked as everyone having been sent them.
Also, if you have any questions, now would be the time to ask them, and once again, if you know about music, I'm still in need of someone to help me with that.

Not trying to rush any of you, but could anyone who hasn't sent their lines yet (I think KG is the only one who's sent his lines) maybe give an update on how they're doing? Basically, if anyone's encountering difficulty, I need to know so I can find a suitable replacement. And if you're all good but still working on the lines, feel free to inform me just so I know we're on track.
By the way, if any of you can do a good Vince the Slap-Chop guy impression, or know anyone who can, I need an actor for that character. It's an extremely small part, as he dies after about five lines.

Re: Filming/OOC (Outpost Echo)
I was wondering, do we have to say the lines exactly as they are? Some of the words I feel don't come natural with my character.Desert Sleepy wrote:Not trying to rush any of you, but could anyone who hasn't sent their lines yet (I think KG is the only one who's sent his lines) maybe give an update on how they're doing? I guess it mainly depends on whether or not whatever you substitute will "fit". Fit being in reference to how it works with the person you're talking to's lines. PM me the original lines with whatever substitute you propose underneath them. I'll almost definitely approve the changes, since it sounds like you just have a change in tone in mind. Provided they aren't nonsense, like substituting "What planet are we on?" for "I have to take a shit. Help me unpack the beanbag chair.".
Also, if anyone else feels a change in their lines will better fit their character, feel free to PM me your substitutes.
The main reason it needs to be approved is that if the line is drastically different, and requires another line to be changed to accommodate, I can't contact all the other actors as easily.

Re: Filming/OOC (Outpost Echo)
Just bumping to remind all the voice actors that production continues whenever they send their lines in. I can't film dialogue scenes if I have no idea how long they should be, and I generally would like to do all the filming at around the same time. So try to work on those lines next time you're feeling up to it, and we'll be on the road to finally making this.
