Second Season has been confirmed!

(New York, NY - November 8, 2010) AMC announced today the renewal of "The Walking Dead" for a 13-episode second season. Since debuting Sunday, October 31, "The Walking Dead" has broken ratings records, with the series reaching more Adults 18-49 than any other show in the history of cable television.

Today's announcement also includes Fox International Channels' (FIC) global renewal for a second season, following record-breaking premiere ratings in 120 countries in Europe, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East. "The Walking Dead" was the highest-rated original series premiere ever to air on FIC simultaneously worldwide.

I liked episode 3, didn't end as intense as the first two, but the surprise at the end was decent. I am coming to like Shane, even though he stole Ricks bitch, he's totally the judge jury and executioner of the camp. I like when he beat the shit out of Garquin for hitting his wife. Even though I agree with Lorey (ricks wifes name?) I think that she should at least talk with Shane before flat leaving him.

I like the other Dixon brother, even though hes still a hothead, he's badass with that cross bow.

Also, what the hell happened to all the zombies that broke into the department store and were trying to get to the roof? They all disappear?

well after the guy at the end did what he did ( guy handcuffed ) the zombies might have followed him because there is no way in hell you could do that and not scream in pain. The ones on the ground floor might have just lost interest and wandered away.

Trying my damnedest to not knit-pick and try to hold this show up to its graphic novel counterpart. I can understand adding more characters to liven things up a bit, i'm so witty it hurts sometimes, but then they went and changed some of the title characters to a point where they're hardly recognizable, and that pisses me right the fuck off. But enough of me pissin' and moanin'.

All in all, it's a good series. Good acting, great zombie design (though they seem a bit fresh), and for the most part they're staying true to the canon set up by Kirkman. Gives me another reason to look forward to the weekends.

That was...depressing. I'm not going to lie though, this show keeps me guessing and always leaves the episode on a cliff hanger.
