Apparently it is because you didn't read the comic, like me. With all the negative reactions people give, looks like i'm never reading the comic, because I still actually enjoy the TV series.

I know the storyline of the comic, but honestly it's fine with me if the series is different then the comic. What's the point of even making a series if it's just the comic live action?

I agree with the above two statements, except that I may read the comic after the series. And by agreeing with eaustinn's post, I mean to say I as well haven't read the comic.

I read some of the comics and I think the show is good, but I have to say some changes they have made is REALLY shocking to me.

I think that either those who read the comic that are hating on this either put it up too high of an expectation, or that they can't stand the changes they make from the comic. Either/or, really.

I've read all 92 issues so far and I'm really enjoying the show. Last night's episode was exactly what I expected it to be. I really, really, enjoyed the last 5 mins of it because of the comics (that part doesn't happen in the comics btw)

I only saw the first season of the show but I thought it was pretty overrated. The comics are indeed 100x better.

I've read the comic, and it's not the fact the they made changes to the storyline that originated in the book, it's that most of those changes are for the worse. Beyond even that, it's like watching "Stupid Choices: The Show", because these characters are incapable of making a good decision or saying what needs to be said. I basically just watch it to chuckle at it now.

The scene at the end was the first interesting scene in a while, but a busted clock is right... once every season, or something.

Why do people even think the Governor is going to be in this? It's basically 'loosely based' on the comic at this point. That, and we haven't even left the farm. At this rate we'll see the Governor around season 7 or 8.
