Seems fairly balanced, sans the obligatory evil/unaligned character.

It's not a party until the bard kills a dire wolf with a ballad.

Take into account that these guys aren't all traveling with one another, though.

They seem to like them, and I'd rather not have everyone in the game traveling as one when I've established so much, or let on that I have.

I remember that I told people when I started this game that I'd auto-accept anyone who made a Bard.

I might have been exaggerating but come on.

Everyone becomes a bard when they have a pint or two in them.

Shit, I didn't even know there were alignments in this. Should I be playing as one?

Oh come on, that whole starting a forest fire thing was an accident! I only fled from it 'cause I didn't want to get yelled at. I agreed to follow some kid into an obvious trap on the off-chance that someone might actually be hurt, and did my best to bail someone I knew out of trouble.

It's just one little forest fire!

Just found some of my old character sheets, thought I would share the Tickler.

Character Name: Stiggly
Gender: Male
Class: Bard
Description: Lanky and towering over his most everyone else at 7'2", Stiggly has always had an "unique" outlook on life due to seeing everything from a downward angle. This resulted in him turning his observations into a long list of poems, ballads, and the occasional dirty limerick. At an early age he showed promise as a bard, teaching himself to use his notes to direct a flow of magic at only 7 years of age. Has a messy collection of dirty blonde hair (not all on his head, mind you; Stiggly knows what the ladies like) and a short braided beard. Reluctantly wears modest light garb when with company; Stiggly hast noticed that clothes restrict his musical talents, and can strip to his skivvies whenever and wherever the opportunity arises to gain a boost to the effects of his spells.
