maybe just drag the dead body to revive them or u know a squirming one, I wouldn't want it to go to like a second chance deal like in Black Ops. although if they could get the body physics right maybe a leg or foot shot would make that okay, i mean it would the shooter have to make his shots count and aim half mast on the person

I definitely agree with you on that one Marine, I think the new Frostbite 2 engine would be powerful enough to handle that 2.

I'm just hoping that the Xbox can fully handle BF3's shaders and lighting effects. BF's lighting and shading really makes a difference.

I'm really hoping that the armor battles in MP have those features, co-ax, thermal, APFSDS KE penetrator and HEAT rounds. Shit will get intense, and MBTs will really feel like 21st century MBTs.

Anyway here are some notes on MP:
  • The game looks fantastic. Runs smooth, the lighting and details, the shadows are spectacular, whether indoor or outside. We dunno what hardware it was running on, but BF3 is absolutely gorgeous.
  • After you die, a screen pops up that shows the custom dog tag and rank of the enemy that killed you — great little detail.
  • Teams were USMC and Russians.
  • Prone is back, it feels like it takes a second or so to go prone. Not too fast, not too slow, just right.
  • The map offered a lot of variety: you can enter lots of buildings, go up to the second floor, camp etc. We already saw a few campers who loved the new buildings.
  • Destruction is extensive and a lot more detailed. Even shooting a wall looks amazing in BF3.
  • Weapons feel and sound like Bad Company 2 (on first impression), meaning they feel and sound fantastic.
  • Player animations are far better than Bad Company 2 and other Battlefield games. Very fluid and lifelike, almost as if you are watching someone run in real life.
  • The scoreboard looks a lot simpler than in Bad Company 2. We dunno if it was finalized or just alpha.
  • We had a few awards pop up during the game (ribbons) which looked a lot like those in BF2.
  • No commo rose. It wasn’t bound to the “Q” button. We looked, couldn’t find it anywhere.
  • You can op-out of being revived.
  • There is a health bar, but regenerative health is back.
  • You can select fire mode (e.g. single shot, full auto etc.)
  • 4 players per squad, squad leader is indicated by a star. Squads work pretty much like in Bad Company 2, and you still get squad point bonuses.
  • In support, you can use an M4 with a flashlight.
  • You can mount LMGs on the ground and on most surfaces, but the gun can only pan approximately 90 degrees to left and right, which feels realistic.

Yea Black Snow like the last picture shows it is still Pre-alpha. According to people who have played it, it does still have some glitches to iron out(expected for pre-alpha). The only complaint that I've heard is that you can only disarm and arm objectives from the front. Besides that I heard the new "Suppression (if that's how you spell it) system" is pretty cool. Summed up when you are being suppressed by a machine gun or what have you, your screen will get abit of white fuzz around the edges and your controls get all out of whack(sensitivity wise).

Taken from Project Reality, I like it. I hope they took more ideas from PR, this game would get very cool very fast.

Incoming new info!
  • 3 game modes have so far been confirmed: Conquest, Rush and Team Deathmatch
  • No kill cam (at least at E3)
  • No “commo-rose” communication command
  • Grenades and Knife are equippable like in BF2
  • New destruction allows for falling debris to kill enemies
  • New “suppressing fire” feature: players who are suppressed cannot heal and their screen blurs and darkens a bit. (Masta Shef was right)
  • Faction specific weapons (USMC and Russian forces were playable at E3).
  • Prone is back. There is no “dolphin diving”.
  • Flashlights can be mounted on select guns and can blind the enemy.
  • Will be released on the new Wii U console in 2012.
