A strange feeling possesses you, like the bottom dropping out of your stomach, and you look around; frightened and confused, you immediately turn and head back into the house and begin walking straight through the living room, through the front door, the back door, the front door, as if caught in some kind of a loop, unable to discern where the house begins and ends. The authorities don't seem to be arriving; Priority one is fixing or disposing of RC mobile in a way that won't destroy the entire universe, so that things will return to normal. This would probably be the first step in fixing things. Hell, who knows, the broken RC might put these people into some weird time bubble stasis.

Okay, that's just wishful thinking.

You take a final look around the backyard before running through the house again and back out front.

Jake's car is gone; he must have booked it quite a while ago. You make sure your backpack is secure, then hop onto your motorcycle, start it up, and book it. You hear sirens as you make your way out of Naomi's neighborhood, and as you peel out into the street you notice the ambulances finally approaching; you're not sure how long ago Amber called 911, but you're glad to see they're here. You think you hear police sirens as well, so you figure now is as good a time as any to get out of dodge.

The streets seem strangely empty, and as you blaze towards home you notice more strange things--a man looks at you from the sidewalk across the street, with six fingers on both hands. You're positive you're alone now, but voices from nowhere whisper nonsense into your ears, and on the distant horizon, the boundary between earth and sky looks blurred, as if the two are mixing together. You step on the gas. Despite your above-average speed and the lack of other cars on the road, it takes noticeably longer for you to make it back to your neighborhood, and you're not entirely sure why. You slam on the brakes, skidding into your driveway, then leap off the bike and run through the back door into your house; you slam it shut, then lock it and draw the curtains.

That was odd. You should go about fixing this.

You bolt upstairs and round the corner into your room, then leap into your computer chair, shaking the mouse to reactivate the display. Thankfully, the original copy of the Reality Changer is unblemished. Your first order of business is to create a new iPhone; you do so, and then re-download the Mobile RC application. Done and done. Your on-the-go tool kit has been replenished, evidently. You also summon up a new pair of sneakers and slip them on quickly.

While still at your computer, you run another scan, preferring the stability and speed of this application to the mobile one.

MUPIROCIN OINTMENT (Structure: Liquid) (Trait: Bacteriocidal properties)
A topical antibiotic that inhibits RNA synthesis in some bacteria. You have no clue what this means. Used to treat skin infections resulting from open wounds.

ALOE VERA (Structure: Liquid) (Trait: Restorative properties)
An extract from a succulent plant that resembles a cactus. Commonly used as an herbal remedy.

ASPIRIN TABLETS (Structure: Small) (Structure: Round) (Trait: Pain-relieving properties)
The Reality Changer would like to remind you that these are not candy.
