Cars and Supercars - What is the best?

Car has been out (revealed at least) for a little while now, but I figured I would finally bring it up.

This car is amazing. Two things people like to see in cars: Performance, and Fuel Economy (well maybe not the 2nd one necessarily, but people do). Who ever thought you could get both?

This super car gets about 78 mpg's (in which is great even by hybrid standards), and still has the performance of a supercar. 0-60 in about 3.2 seconds, and a 198mph top speed. To top things off, its handling is amazing... so good, that it put up one of the best times on the Nürburgring... and it's a hybrid. Looks amazing too.

And no I did not watch top gear, but I will watch that this evening (look back feature mentioned in other topic).

The way I see it, it's a newer version of the Carrera GT except its convertible.

hmm... alpha 9.... read the description: "the AMS Performance Nissan GT-R Alpha 9's claimed performance figures are in Veyron territory".

Doesn't mean nothing until it is actually proven.

And german veyron killer? How? Veyron has better 0-60 and top speed, and build quality... only thing I see this winning in is handling.

EDIT: I also love how nearly all of motortrends figures on the veyron are inncorrect.

Remember, you pay for what you get.

BTW, that one is not their fastest.
They are actually working on a 1000hp GT-R as we speak.

Also the Alpha-9 is logically better then the FRENCH Veyron.

Just looked into it more.

Apparently, this thing isn't even a Nissan; it is an aftermarket tuner by AMS. After looking into more details, I must say, it does have impressive acceleration.

Nevertheless though...

top speed not impressive at all, and, not production.

Unless AMC can create an official production line under their own name with Nissan's endorsement, this technically will not count in the record books.

Last I checked France doesn't make a veyron...

And these aren't my standards, it is the world's standards. No record book holder will even consider the car.

And upgrade package? Proves my point further. Not a production car, just an aftermarket tuner, and therefore doesnt count anywhere.


EDIT: And get something better? Do not even attempt to compare the veyrons build quality and luxury. In comparison, the Alpha 10 is a piece of shit in that category.
