im sorry but i have two things to say where are we gonna put a shotgun cause i doubt you'll make it far walking with a shotgun out in the open and second he has no exprience with a firearm so it isnt a smart idea to give him a shotgun also alchohol and firearms dont mix plus i doubt we need to get him blackout drunk

A burst of force apparently generated from the melting windowsill knocks you off your feet, and as you roll through the syrupy morass that coats your floor, you decide to take a brief moment to reflect on the events of the past few hours.

After dicking around with a program that can alter the aspects of any object or person, you almost killed your friends with exploding water guns and destroyed the world. Luckily you were able to catch up to them using the [PEOPLE] tab of the Reality Changer. You recall that Amber and Naomi were fleeing a disintegrating hospital, Jason is in his house, being stalked by some sort of shadow creature. Craig and Jake were fleeing some sort of cataclysm, and Mia appears to be in a dark void.

The broken iPhone in your backpack appears to be causing the downfall of reality, as things are growing worse by the moment. You make your way up to the PC and hit the [MOBILE RC]; you browse to your iPhone in a list of devices and hit the Uninstall button. This causes the program to lock up for a moment; afterward, nothing seems to have happened, and the RC is not uninstalled from the mobile client. Instead, you try to remove all the properties of the phone with the Edit function. As you select the phone, it warps onto your desk, then flies out of the hole in the wall to your right, disappearing into the distance, propelled by an unknown force. You continue on deleting all of the properties, but as you attempt to remove the last one, a message pops up.

Error: Access Denied.

Resolute, you rise out of your chair and run to the edge where a wall used to be. The sky is growing red, and the shadows in your backyard are bending in strange directions. Below, you see the HERO'S AGENT, your armored vehicle. Keys are waiting inside--but your phone seems to have escaped, and your friends are in danger.

Somehow you think you're going to need some new gear. You adjust your AEOLEAN GLOVES.

Reality, or what's left of it, is at your command. What's on the menu, Garrett?

Get in the Hero's Agent and go to the hospital to pick up Amber and Naomi, explain what you have done, and ask for help. Then pick up Jake and work on finding Jason and Craig. Mia is probably either lost to the shadow people, or hiding in a closet. (go for whichever of these is closest first) 6 minds are better than one, and together you could probably find a solution.

Grab the iPhone charger you have plugged in to your computer.

Scan it, Edit it, whatever, I forgot the terminology. Add [Trait] Restorative Properties. Plug it in to your computer and phone. Hope that it restores the phone to it's previous status instead of just filling it with Aloe Vera.

It's up to you to save your friends--you've caused this, and you need to stop it. You resolve to kick reality's ass with the help of some new gear.

This is so fucking stupid.

You leap into your computer chair and at the touch of a button, a pair of jeans appears on your floor, or whatever's left of it. You decide not to bother identifying each intermediate stage of your new item, but instead do it all at once. You add a property, and the surface immediately turns to metal. Another--you see hexagonal rings of light rise up from the tightly woven steel, indicative of another layer of dense material being added to form a protective layer. The next set of changes causes them to reform, changing shape from an actual pair of pants to mechanical reinforcements designed to be worn over them. They guard the feet and long bones with thick metal plates, but appear to have springs and hydraulics for heavy shock resistance--they also seem to be relatively workable. Solar panels rest along the joints between metal plates.

The Reality Changer identifies this monstrosity, against all odds, as:

Intended to be worn over the pants, this is a pair of exoskeletal legs that allows the user to run faster, jump higher, support more weight, and survive falls that would kill any living creature. They absorb sunlight with high efficiency, and will generally not run out of power when used for civilian purposes. Allow time to charge prior to stressful use at night time. Avoid prolonged contact with water and extreme heat.

You create another Hot Tube Time Machine. The tube rests in your hand, and you look at it scornfully--the upright walking descendant of this device was responsible for the death or near-death of many today. You were responsible.

You modify the device--it is now a thin tube that tapers down to a handle as opposed to a brown cardboard tube. The thing is forged of black carbon steel with a trim of golden laurel leaves wrapped tightly around the body. Three buttons are in a line on the surface: Fan, Blast, and Reverse.

You feel as if you should be a bit more careful this time.

This is a hellacious mechanical air cannon--there really isn't much to say on the matter. Stylish and structurally strong, you're not sure about the practical uses of this device.

You recall that your broken reality altering iPhone just launched itself out of the window at the speed of lightning. Even if it hadn't, the Mobile RC somehow installed itself wirelessly--without having to plug the phone into your computer.

The GPS locator on your [PEOPLE] tab suggests that Jason is the closest person to you. His neighborhood is only a few streets outside of your neighborhood. Amber and Naomi are slightly further away; evidently, they are slowly moving through town. The locator suggests Jake and Craig's car is further away, pushing through the downtown streets. They are closer to Mia: according to the GPS, she is somewhere inside the Fresco Tower, the tallest building in the downtown area.

You summon up and modify a leather glove.

This isn't really a glove, as you can't move your fingers while wearing it--due to being made entirely of metal, it's closer to a large steel ball bearing carved into the shape of a tightly closed fist, with a hand hole. Has a few buttons around the wrist, but it looks like it would probably break every one of your metacarpals if you dared slip your hand inside.

Now, for a shirt.

You make a run for the closet, and the floor in the middle of the room gives way under your feet. The plywood beneath the carpet gives way and somehow bursts through the sheet rock below; something seems to have made it structurally unsound. You leap forward just as it breaks beneath you and clear the gap that drops your bed into the living room below with a mighty crash.

You swing the closet door open, and are careful not to step into outer space. Where your clothes rack once rested, you see distant nebulae and dark planets, in their orbit far away from brilliant celestial bodies. An object approaches you from the darkness of outer space, and appears to accelerate as it grows closer. You take a moment to wonder what it could possibly be. Perhaps the gods above have decided to grant you a boon.

The WINTER COAT tackles you to the ground, crashing into your chest at just under sixty miles per hour. You slam back-first into your dresser. The garment sits up and begins barking like a dog; the arms begin slapping your cheeks. Under the duress of constant nylon coat-slaps, you find yourself unable to react; luckily, you feel a drip of energy, your casual shirt immediately beginning to restore whatever damage was done to your body. You grab the thing and lift it; it struggles to avoid being folded as you open a dresser drawer and force it inside, immediately slamming it shut.

You rub your face as you make your way downstairs, now on your guard; you can't help but wonder what's next on the menu. Because you don't have enough wacky footwear yet, you decide to make something new.

In your living room, your bed appears to have dented the floor and splintered into pieces, also having devastated most of the couch it landed on.

It was a good bed. What a rotten way to die. You advance into the kitchen and take a look around for cookware. The windows are broken, and the sink nozzle appears to have warped into something that resembles the 3D model of a protein. With little else to do, you whip out the reinforced iPhone and find a piece of cookware to scan.

NO-STICK PAN (Tool) (Material: Steel) (Material:Teflon surface) (Trait: Culinary) (Structure: Shallow)
Though the melting point of polytetrafluoroethylene is roughly 327 degrees Celsius, take caution when using hot oils or high temperatures, as the Teflon surface of this pan can release toxic fumes or contaminate food at temperatures greater than two hundred and forty. Pan is not intended for use as a weapon.

Next, you summon up a pair of Gale Sneakers and add the Teflon material, removing the rubber material to make space.
The Reality Changer identifies the resulting item as:

These black leather shoes have wings of golden cloth sewn into the heels. The soles of these shoes have a friction coefficient of roughly 0.07--for reference, the friction coefficient of rubber against dry asphalt can be as low as 0.9, but generally yields values greater than 1.0. At high speeds, these sneakers can create a cushion of air between the user and the ground, resulting in an effect akin to hydroplaning in a car. Try not to break your legs (You'll break your legs).
