Rapture (Professor Vanguard's Preparatory Forum Adventure)

So as some of you may already know, I am planning to run a large forum game similar to the ever-popular MSPC, but this task proves to be rather daunting. To prepare myself and to get an idea of the work required to run a forum game I'm just gonna be doing this for a while. Once I get the feel of this I may just end it whenever so I can get to a larger project, so don't get too attached I guess.

After a long night of participating in Undead Xbox community games and yelling at your screen until approximately 8:00 AM, you unsurprisingly sleep in until late afternoon. Good thing your parents are away on business or you would most certainly receive a few disappointed sideways glances from them for the rest of the day. Honestly, it's 6:05 PM and you're just now getting up. Get your life together dude.



Not that you have much to do other than hang out in your room (drawn in a rather uninspiring way). After all, summer just started. It's May 21st and you're really bored and completely unaware of any events that may take place that may or may not have been blatantly hinted at by the title of this thread.

As for the heaven thing you are almost certain that it is in fact not the rapture. Seriously, how terrible would it be for the world to end right when your summer starts. The answer is very terrible.

You check the "glowy blinky box" and find that it is definitely your laptop. After your late night with technology, you don't particularly want to get on the internet right now. Anyway, you're distracted by the stark lack of natural light in your room.

Unfortunately anyone that you know for sure is getting rapture'd is too high in the air to be grabbed.

While there probably are some cool post-rapture spoils outside, your idea isn't really the best.

You know that whole "life of sin" thing? Well the only religious tome in your house is some crazy-old book filled with Greek letters and shit. It's really ridiculous and probably not even remotely close to being Christian. It's downstairs somewhere though.
