people getting in that are already in OTPYG

I realize this and I do apologize. It was my original intention to include as many people not in OTPYG as possible, but there were people in it that either had a great short answer to the question or showed exceptional interest in the game or in The Sigmatic Plane in general that I felt it would be a shame to not include them.

At any rate, if there are regular readers who keep up with whatever my pace ends up being, I'll offer as many chances for audience participation as I can.

One more thing before I get back to work: it'd be cool if you used the other thread for discussion as to not clutter things up.

The ten of you continue along the street. Your destination is a small courtyard tucked away from the city. Arachne Iona told the rest of you that there are several family owned shops that sell some things that you can't get anywhere else. Probably some archaic technological baubles, knowing her.



As you approach the nondescript alleyway that is East 19th avenue, the streetlight above you begins to flicker.



They've been doing this for a few days now. It's really strange for the power to be so unreliable in Sig Cordon. What's even stranger is that the government has yet to make any comment on the matter. Across the street you hear some other people groan and say something along the lines of "Ugh, not again."

The lights soon come back on.




"C'mon guys, just a little bit further!"


"You sure this is really worth it Arachne? This seems like too much of a hassle for some courtyard, or where ever we're going."


"Hey man, got anything better to do?"


"I've never really been down in this part of the city before..."


The idle chitchat continues, but Dexter turns and notices a figure in the distance dart through the shadow of the alleyway.



What happens now?

Homer: "Come on, then. The quicker we get there, the safer we'll be. Lead the way, Arachne."

Dexter: "Did anyone see that?" head towards the alleyway where the figure was.

Homer: "See what? It was probably nothing, some stray animal. Come on, being out here gives me the creeps."

Arachne: "Oh, it was probably one of the weirdos that wanders around here sometimes. No big deal! And I promise, it's totally worth it. This stuff's awesome!"

Dexter: "How far away are these shops?, I really actually want to see what that was so yea, I might just check this out then meet up with you guys there."

Jay: "Uh, lets just keep walking. I want to get there already"

Arachne: "Aww come on! We're super close. And you'll probably get lost if we separate now, so..."

Thomas: "Dexter, I'll go with you if you really want to check it out, although i think it was probably nothing. I don't like the idea of you going off on your own. We don't really know the area."

Hanzo: Like the others said it is probably just some stray animal or some weirdo, its not worth getting bit and contracting some sort of disease, ugh... the thought of that alone deters me from wanting to go check out what it was, but if you insist I won't hesitate to follow you pal, we don't want anyone getting hurt and then be alone. But I suggest you reconsider so you don't waste time. Then again I am always up for a brawl if whoever or whatever it was wants to start a tussle.

Claude: Oi, does that shady guy have a staring problem? I could have sworn I heard 'em say somethin' about your mother Thomas. You wanna go get him?

Dexter: "Honestly guys, it will probably take like a minute or two at the most, and I mean what if we find something cool?" "I mean if you don't want to come then just tell us who want to go where these shops are, or just draw a map and we can meet you there."

Allistor: Roll eyes at Claude. "Take care, whatever the two of you do. I don't think any of us specialize in medicine."

Sit back and see what everyone's going to do.

Thomas: Dexter, I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but i doubt you'll find anything other than a creepy old dude.

I'll go with you so you don't get raped I guess...

What exactly do you expect to find anyway?

Jay: "Jesus Dex, you're already getting worked up. But i don't mind taking a short walk with you"

Hanzo: I think that is a good plan Dexter, I have my doubts about those warehouses anyway, what could be more exciting then following a strange man and possibly getting into a fight, I don't work out just to look pretty you know guys. Although I did tell myself I would have a bit of self control from now on, hell I will go wherever you guys need me if you take some others with you Dexter I will be more than happy to stick with Arachne and whoever goes with her.
