This could actually be a fun game if it really is open-world and features a lot of customization. Taking inspiration from Left 4 Dead and Dead Rising and sort of mixing it could work.

I just still can't wrap my mind around the concentrated levels of anti-effort it must have taken to name this game Dead Island (it is a zombie game that takes place on an island). At least Dead Rising is thinking with semi-abstract adjectives by the second word of the title.

Anyone else notice that in the teaser when you see the zombies moving it doesnt seem very fluid?
It looked like they would glitch around just a bit. I watched it a few times just to be sure and ya, im a bit concerned by that... Hoping that gets fixed.

True... BUT im not sure i want to have that at my fingertips cause if there are i already know i will end up getting stuck somewhere and instead of thinking out my next move i would use a cheat for a really big gun and just kill everything in sight.

I might preorder this if they show more gameplay of it. Also, arent they going to showcase it at E3? or am i mistaken?

For me it would be more like:

the game industry frustrates me. "okay well make a good zombie game this time, no well make it this time, oh we'll combine those two and put it on an island. what? no we aren't leaving out the the good stuff that makes a zombie apocalypse appealing and adding it in ever next game so you keep dishing out 60 bucks. JUST MAKE A GOOD ZOMBIE GAME ALREADY with the works. what i want is the feeling of one day you wake up and the outbreak is upon us, I have more than just 3 friends for one WHY IS THE MAXIUM NUMBER OF PLAYERS IN EVERY ZOMBIE GAME ONLY 4 PLAYERS! yea being on an island and experiencing is a great idea i think but that only lasts one game, let me choose my starting point. and i dont want to follow your story and play as a former rapper, put me in coach!

let max brooks make a game (though that may be too linear for my taste but at least he will get it right)

I can't wait to drive around in a car as well, I did not expect them to have driving in it. Also if you read this it says that even single zombies will be tough so its not like dead rising combat wise. So that means I will be playing this stealthy unless I have some teammates with me.

better be first person driving as well. i love first person driving. and i dont mean camera on the hood of the car gta 4 style. i mean grid racing hands on the steering wheel checkin my reviews free head movement First Person Driving.
