Outpost Echo - Game Topic

The recon group has been running for a fairly long time, and can now see the opening in the canyon wall. The enemies are still following behind you, but they've lost some ground. You're also becoming exhausted due to all the running. Captain Breckinridge gives the radio another try.

Captain Breckinridge: "Does anybody read me?"

[Radio]: "Copy that Captain. This is Lieutenant Colfax."

Captain Breckinridge: "We're being pursued by hostiles. We need you to set up a perimeter around the camp and try to aim that warthog turret in our direction."

Lieutenant Colfax: "...Copy that Captain."

Captain Breckinridge: "One more thing. They're following right behind us with miner's picks. You're going to have to be shooting over our shoulders."

Lieutenant Colfax: "...You're being chased by miners? Is this a joke, Captain?"

Captain Breckinridge: "This isn't a joke! Get ready, we'll be in the canyon momentarily!"

The team has made it around the corner. Meanwhile, back at the ship, Lieutenant Colfax and Sergeant Alvarez set up a perimeter around the ship, with the two warthog turrets manned and facing the break in the canyon. The recon group finally makes it back into the canyon, with the hostiles following behind. Dillon and other snipers begin picking off those closest to the group, but the canyon is now flooding with them. The soldiers on the turrets can't open fire until the recon group is almost past them. When the group finally passes through the gap in the barricade, the soldiers manning it open fire on the crowd following them. Despite the hostiles' numbers, they're easily cut down before they can reach the barricade. The field between the ship and the road is now littered with corpses. The recon team finally gets a chance to catch their breath. All of the soldiers manning the barricade are dumbfounded.

Lieutenant Colfax: "What the fuck was that?"

Dyama: Lies down on the ground, breathing hard. "Some guys we met at the mining facility. Rowdy bunch."

Shane -reloads a new clip into his dmr and pulls back on the rifle- "do you want me at the frontline captain?"

Carter: Sits down against the wheel of the Warthog, taking out his canteen and chugging down the water inside. "Whoever they are, they're psychotic as hell. Fuckin' cut up Vince like a Christmas ham."

Dillon:"wow you guys almost got fucked...you owe us one. most particularly me because i have had no fucking sleep and because my ass feels like a rock"

Shane walks over to carter "can i get a little sip of that? "

Soren: Heads outside, looking at the exhausted recon team. He grins and says aloud "Gentlemen"

Tom:

@Lieutenant Colfax - " We use the night vision scope on the sniper rifle and PDA to mark targets in a way so that we have a real time map of where the targets are located. Then from there we send a group to take them out one by one. Im sure we have someone trained in Covert-Ops in team security team. While that team does that, we would have our sniper covering them just in case anything went bad."

@Everyone who can hear me - " At the moment that seems to me like the only plan we got. Anyone with me on this? If need be i will carry out this plan myself. "

Demitri: *walks out the door to the outside taking in the new seanary* "Oh shit... This is perfect!" *starts heading towards the graveyard when I hear Tom* "You need vile terra to kill people?"

Dyama: @Tom "No offense, but I don't think we're in any condition to attack what could be a heavily armed rebel group."

Carter: @ Shane: 'Sorry all out."
Walk to the med bay in the crash
"Hey Doc I need your help with something and-.. Is everything all right?"

Dillon@Tom: "me and someone else could go on one of these mountains and scout them to see how much people they have"

Shane works his way to the med bay to get himself a canteen of water "what the hell were those people who attacked us ?"

Tom: "We already know what they are equipped with, and how many of them there are. We've had the sniper watching them, remember? As of right now, if i have to, i will do it myself. Im not going to just sit by watch anymore.

Shane Reaches the med bay and walks up to the doctor "doc sorry to bother you but do you have any water in a canteen, I havent had any water in like a whole day "

Turner: Yeah sure *walks over to a crate and pulls out a box of water bottles* You might want to pass those around.

Shane takes the crate and thanks the doctor " thanks doc you might want to come to the main camp , we may have taken casulties or injuries from the troops. we were attacked by unknown rebels at the mining facility and we held them off I dont know how the situation is right now you might just better be on station"

Turner: Thanks for the advice i heard the gunshots and thought it be safer here. *walk to main camp* Who here needs medical assistance?

Turner: Also someone should search that pile of bodies and get some identification on whose attacking us.

Shane Carries the crate of water into the middle of the camp setting it on the ground for anybody to grab a bottle.

Carter: Take inventory of the medical supplies, notice a few missing. Walk out to the camp looking for Doc Turner.

"Hey Doc I was listing the supplies we have in the med bay and I noticed that a few were missing. Any idea on what happened to them?"

Turner: If any supplies are missing its likely they were stolen by Demetri.

Demitri: *walk over to Tom* "I'll help you if your going, no one should go alone."
