Day Z PLEASE FUCKING PLAY WITH ME

I have been gone since of friends and college blah blah blah who gives a fuck...
Anyway, I have Day Z (an Arma II :OA mod) downloaded and I am getting my assed handed to me.
Any takers?
Requirements (in case you didn't know):
Arma II & Arma II Operation Arrowhead (<---- SHIT IS ON SALE ON STEAM)
A decent computer (I can run it ok on my i5 6 gb RAM machine with normal settings so don't think you need a bad ass PC to play. Dl the demo and run this scan http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx)
A PC mic (I believe we need some sort of team speak sever but, I am sure we can find some free shit.)
A lot of fucking patience

- Once you get a weapon and viable supplies head north. Get off of the coastline as quickly as you can.
- Always crawl when you're in cities.
- Only go to the North West Airfield if you have military-grade weaponry. Even then it's a highly dangerous gamble.
-If you see anyone in Chernogorsk or Elektrozavodsk, shoot them. Chances are they'll do the same to you if the opportunity arises.
Few starters. You'll thank me later.

Hell fucking yes I will play with myself.
I went to Balota for supplies with like 3 rounds for a double barrel and it looked empty. I just went to the tower and one hanger before getting jumped by 3 zombies and started bleeding. Is that usually packed? Also, I keep spawning against the coast and can't make a break past the houses with out attracting a horde of like 20.
But, after watching Kilroy's series, I know to never go near Chernogorsk or Electric shit hole unless I have a huge group and an ass load of ammo.
And snowwolf, what are you working with? Maybe we can find a low res skin and turn off some useless features.
Also, I am at orientation until Tuesday so I can't join till then. I'm starting a new character so I can spawn at least close to anyone else who joins.

Balota airfield is usually full with zombies, any airfield is. It may look empty but zombies spawn as a survivor enters the area. So it can look empty one minute and by the time you're actually in the airfield itself, 10-20 zombies could have just spawned. As for attracting a horde of zombies, patience is a virtue in DayZ. Never sprint/run when your near a city. Crouch and crawl. Both hardly make noise and make it difficult for the zombies to see you.
As for weapon selection-
NEVER use a Lee-Enfield.

But what about being chased? I can't crouch and run from zombies. I end up pinned to the coast, bleeding out, and no ammo. Maybe I just suck lol. I'm still getting used to the controls. I would think so. The processor and RAM are alright but, I don't know how much dedicated v-ram you have and what not. Honestly, I think running on lowered settings will work just fine. Arma isn't super demanding.

When you're being chased, you need to run. You will eventually outrun a zombie or two, but a horde, never. If you're being chased by a horde. Honestly, you deserve to die because you messed up big. Zombies are stupid as fuck in this game.
Never trust randoms, do not approach, if they approach, you shoot them on spot. Your friends in DayZ are your actual friends.
Always go in farmhouses,
Find yourself a CZ550, you don't need military equipment no matter what anyone tells you. All weapons kill equally. If you're in a firefight, you're doing it wrong.
Never play at night, night in Chernarus is like from 1900 to 0400. It's stupid as hell.
Always hug the edges of cities and scan before you enter them.
Be on alert when entering any city or village. PvE and PvP are two dangers.
Forget anything that ever happened in another zombie game, it's harder in this.

There's 3 types of people in this game.
1. Psychotic
2. Paranoid
3. Naive
Psychotic people are those people who sit on a choke point and shoot someone in the leg so they'd be immobile and ask for help. Once help comes, they shoot the help from 300 meters away, then kill the person who is injured. Or they're the person who drives around in a car at night with his NVGs on and the headlights off playing Yakety Sax through his mic while running everyone he sees over. They are the survivors, they all hate each other, no matter how much some don't want to, and are hostile to absolutely everything. They've lived so long because they've killed anything from a football field away before it could threaten them.
Paranoid people (Like me) are those overly cautious people that spend 30 minutes scanning a city before even attempting to run through it. They hug the edges of cities without ever entering and they practically live in the forests away from the rest of society because they'd rather not kill someone running the risk that an encounter will go badly. It's been so longer since I've met a player face to face besides Kiwi, that I forget what other players look like. I spend half an hour to 45 minutes alone setting up to go to Krasnostav airfield. I don't know why I do anyway, it's not like I ever want anything there. Maybe if they add a CDF skin, then I'll get an AK74.
Naive people are those people that run around yelling "ARE YOU FRIENDLY???!" to every idiot in the server they see and yell "WHO'S SHOOTING IN CHERNO?" and all that shit. They're practically the only prey to the psychotic people because anyone who's paranoid like me left Chernogorsk and Elektrozavodsk a long time ago. They get killed by everyone and make up like 80% of the community, and that 80% is the portion that complains about everyone. I have to just facepalm a little inside whenever I read some complaint and it's about everyone shooting on sight.
THE REAL ENEMY IS OTHER PEOPLE, people. Zombies aren't that bad really.
