No, you can't run it. At best maybe with 5fps on minimum graphics. What you need to upgrade: everything. RAM, CPU, GPU

Completely right Jag. I had played this a while back and the zombies seemed to never leave your tail no matter what. However, the current version actually forces them to give up and running up and down inclines at all angles seems to stop them faster.

I simply wish to have a horde of 4-5 people to protect my "inexperienced" ass from most easily avoidable troubles. Such as the almighty waters gods. Apparently, my character has bones made of balsa and skin made of potassium. Simply looking for a latter and trying to escape the loud water of death for no longer then 3 minutes caused me to die after rubbing my gentiles on a near by barge for a break. The water god was displeased and ripped my legs out from my hip and furiously beat me for several hours.

Protip: fuck water.

DayZ forces ArmA to do so many things it wasn't supposed to, so many things go very wrong in this that wouldn't even be fathomable happening in the regular game.

Was I wrong about it? The minimum requirements are a Intel Core 2.4 GHz or AMD Dual-Core Athlon 2.5 GHz. The Intel Core is a step-up from the Pentium. I'm not much of an Intel guy so don't hold me to it. Either way the game will probably run bad.

There's no doubt that the game will run badly because of the abysmal GPU and the low RAM, but the CPU is rated at 3.1GHz which is pretty great. I'm actually surprised to see a CPU like that paired with that GPU...

It's pretty common nowadays in office and media compuuters. You need a lot of processing power for decoding video and compressing/extracting files efficiently, but even for video playback you don't need a good GPU.
